Last night was exciting. I was so excited in fact that I was downright nauseated by the stress of it all. Although, my son tossed his cookies last night as well so maybe it was something we ate. In any case, we got our first two kids of the season and thankfully my friend was able to come over, reach her hand right in (wince) and pull out the backwards baby in less than five minutes! I tell you what, a midwife I am NOT! I’ll be posting pictures soon. And we’ve got two more does to go, too.
I finished *something* recently and wanted to share: my baby’s little quilt! It was super easy and fast but of course it sat on the “project pile” for a good ten months or so before I finished the binding. But it’s done and out of my to-finish stash and I love the colors:
Meanwhile, my 11 year old daughter wanted to make something for a bride and her groom as a wedding present. So, she handmade some little mice, thinking that the little boy in the new marriage would like to play with them:
Now, I just need to find a couple of good movies to sit by so I can finish this apron that’s been taunting me. That, or some episodes of I Love Lucy. I could really use the laughter these days!
Blessings,
