“If you don’t sacrifice for what you want,
what you want becomes the sacrifice”.
(Anonymous)
Thursday morning found me in the garden talking to my podcast listeners. In my own head. I had them/you all in my garden and strolling around the winter beds, asking questions, opinions, sharing experiences and wonderings, showing what’s growing, what’s limping, what’s collapsed. I was catching up with where our family has been, what we’re doing, and where we’re going. Again, in my head.
I miss people. I miss podcasting. The sacrifices we make for the things more important, yes? And yet we must consider those sacrifices time and again, checking in to see if they are still valid. Sometimes, yes, sometimes, no. Sometimes…maybe.
So there in the garden I turned on my video on my phone and started talking and sharing. I didn’t script anything out and as you shall see, I even held my phone the “wrong” way. But if you’ve been waiting for our podcast to return (we want that, too), I thought maybe you’d enjoy a little vlog in the meanwhile. It’s getting produced and uploaded onto our YouTube channel, so if you’d like to see it, make sure to head on over and subscribe so as not to miss it when our internet allows its upload.
Do let me know if this is of interest to you, this vlogging. And if you are commiserating with winter damage or if you’re joining me in hope with the promises of spring. Spring is really coming, friends, in every way.
Blessings,
