It’s amazing how the time fills in when space is made for other things. I miss blogging but I have yet to make the progress I want to in the other areas in my life. In many ways, staying here in this little cabin has helped to prune more areas than I was initially prepared for, but it is all good. Everything is well, especially with my soul.
Not too long ago, I gave a couple of talks at a retreat, and they were recorded. Here is the first one I gave, titled:
Pulling the Plug on Distraction to Connect with a Real Life: Or, how a mommy blogger deleted herself off the net to regain sight of what was truly important while trying to follow Jesus’s rhythm of life. Plus: three things you MUST do to cultivate a deliberate life
I hope you’ll find it thoughtful and a blessing. Also, underneath the player you’ll find the notes to the talk, that you may download if you wish to take the time to ponder and reflect (and I hope you do!).

I need to add that my definition on what a “life lived in integrity” means was compiled from reading The Accidental Creative. I found that book to be helpful in organizing–and continuing to organize–my work and personal projects and goals.
If you haven’t read PRESENT yet, I hope you will make some space for it. And, if you have, I would love it if you recommended it to your friends, or left me a review 🙂
Many Blessings,

Loved your talk. Have missed you! So glad though, you are busy being fully present with your family. Inspired finally to purchase your book. Downloaded audio from amazon. Beautiful work! Now on second time through. Bless you for your labor of love.
