So many hundreds were impacted by this tornado, it seems so wrong to call it “Kelly’s”. It seems very self-centered.
You’re so right; it impacted not only hundreds, but even the hundreds upon hundreds that were connected to each and every individual. For the record, I (not Kelly) called it “Kelly’s” because I was listening to her very individual and unique experience within that disaster. It was, I suppose, self-centered in that I was only speaking to one person and hearing their experience and what was lost and gained through it, but I don’t think that qualifies as selfish nor negates the very real trauma others lived through. It was an interesting thought, though; thanks for allowing me the clarification 🙂
