Where there is no sowing, there is no harvest worth the labor. Without sowing, void spaces welcome weed seeds and trouble, and opportunity for evil abounds. In a happy home, what ought to be sown are fruits of the spirit, in the spirit. Sometimes it is difficult to do, to find even one more ounce of patience, or one more tender word, or to give one more act of forbearance. This is when faith is most real, when hope is truly all the motivation in the world. Whatever the trial today, do try to plant something good so that in the later years, your harvest will be precious.
Psalms 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
