As we long for balance in our lives, we really need to back up and begin with the question, “Is ‘balance’ the right frame of mind? Is ‘balance’ even possible?” Give a listen and join in on the conversation.

That was an amazing Podcast! It made me think of what I call Prime, Prep and Play time. You and Tom really touched on many areas to think about for all of those! Thank you and keep up the awesome work with everything! 😊

Tom, take her to Hawaii. 🙂
Since we live in a town with no roads in or out, my husband and I take “stay-cations”. We have a favorite B & B that we like to stay at. We once rented a really nice car for an anniversary weekend. Our car at the time was old and decrepit. We drove that nice car just about everywhere there is to drive on our peninsula. We eat at restaurants that we don’t usually go to. It’s nice. It’s INTENTIONAL. I think I like that word better than balance. It doesn’t take much to throw things off balance. It may sound strange, but I sort of picture life as a punching clown. You know. Weighted on the bottom, give it a good punch and it goes down, but bounces right back. The key is to just keep bouncing right back. There is an invisible string from our heart to His heart and when we go down He tugs on the string and brings us back to an upright position. We get tired for sure, but am so thankful for those heart tugs. Keri, how do you get good sleep with 9 kids? I’m always tired. PS- We leave Monday to meet 2 other couples for 5 days in Las Vegas. My first time there. Don’t make fun, but we are going to see Donny and Marie Osmond in concert. That’s the era I grew up in. These other 2 couples are SO FUN to be with. I think it’s been a while since I’ve had fun. It’s time.

Yes, INTENTIONAL. Super excited for your trip with your friends! I’ll be sure Tom reads this comment, especially the Hawaii part 🙂
