The decluttering continues! Let me tell you, this is not a job for wimps, but if you can whimper your way through it (like me!), you might find yourself gaining energy and excitement as areas become cleaner, clearer and more conducive to pleasant living. I know that this is for certain happening for me and I am not finished yet. But I am *definitely* seeing fruit and so I am persevering.
We had the great pleasure of interviewing Bob and Erika Shupe of Large Families on Purpose and asked them how they do life with nine children (and now expecting #10!) in a 1100 square foot home. Enjoy!

THANK YOU!!! I was actually on iTunes looking for “discipleship” podcasts and your podcast came up with this episode. The Lord knew this is exactly what I needed and gave me such a timely helping of wisdom and blessing from this message. Seriously. We are only a family of 3 (with one on the way) in a 954 square foot house and I sweat thinking about adding children to this place. We host people all the time and my heart pines for more room, but my husband is a pastor, and we live in Denver – one of the most expensive housing markets in the US right now – so I often feel discouraged about this.
Just the day before I heard this my husband and I were talking about making a furniture purchase for a day guest bed, but in the end made a faith decision that we didn’t have the immediate need so we’d wait. And then I hear your message and realize we don’t need it at all.
Thank you for helping me see my heart issue of worshipping other things besides Jesus. I have forwarded this podcast to many friends already and am writing a blog post on it encouraging my readers to listen and be challenged by this message!
