Over the Christmas break I managed to quickly put together a little quilt for my craft room wall (I’ll share soon!). As I was about to throw out the little pile of triangles, I thought perhaps I could do something shabby-cute with them.
So I did. I made a few thank you notes and used some of the pieces to make a patchwork kite on the cards. I have plenty of leftover pieces, so maybe I’ll make some mini-quilts for more notecards. I just glue the scraps down with a paintbrush and Golden Gel Medium as the adhesive. Totally easy and a relaxing way to spend part of an evening.
I hope you’re finding nooks of time for creative little patches here and there, too. Have you and your children sent out thank you notes yet?
Blessings,
