The frogs are busy tonight in the wet ravines through the woods. It sounds like a lullaby coming through the window, fresh cool air weaving into the room. I am so blessed to have a comfortable bed, a roof, children softly breathing in rhythmic sleep. Tomorrow morning I plan to make sour cream sourdough waffles so the starter is full in a bowl awaiting me in the kitchen.
My body is slowing down with the weight of this pregnancy pressing upon me, but my mind has been full of ideas and plans for a new project I’m embarking on. As it turns out, the Lord is taking my ponderings and turning them into a project that is bigger than I am. Lesson: be careful what you ponder before God! And every time I want to bug out of it (because I’m chicken), He supplies me with an instructor, or an illustrator, or software. I feel like I’m not only preparing to birth a baby, but a splash. I’m still not completely convinced, you know. Ok, Lord, but will you provide x, y and z, too? Oy, my unbelief is such a bane to me! Let me just share this much:
