Spending a lot of time crafting sure does put some things into perspective. Like…why is crafting, handwork, cleaning, baking, fort-making, and just plain running around through mud puddles get the short end of the stick on the list of “what my kids have to accomplish to be ready to compete in the world”? And is “competing” what we’re to be about teaching them to do anyway? Another thing that puts stuff like that into perspective is reading through Ecclesiastes. I’m pondering. I’ll share. But first…do you need or want another Christmas craft? Not that the internet isn’t swimming with mommies sharing craft ideas. But I can pull this blog off in 15 minutes. Thinking takes longer.
First draw onto dark paper with light colored pencils the design you want. You can also use stencils or even cookie cutters.
Easy and fun!
